My United Airlines Menu

I picked up this United Airlines menu at a yard sale last month. It cost me fifty cents. What attracted me to it was it represented a bygone era in MY lifetime.

The menu reminds me that airline travel use to be a wonderful experience. Now, just the thought of “flying” somewhere fills me with dread. It doesn’t matter which airline you choose the feelings are the same—you no longer feel valued as a customer. From being fleeced by the myriad of fees that frankly most people don’t understand to the yearly shrinkage of space in the airplane, customers just don’t matter.

I enjoy looking at this menu. I like the artwork displayed on the cover and the food selections. Everything about it says “Enjoy” the experience!
